Henry Milton performed marriage ceremony for Charles Hamilton and Fanny Mayfield, July 2, 1805. Also for James Holloway and Sarah Miller, January 31, 1805. Also for John Bird and Jenney Farris, on August 14 1805. Also for Massey Hodge and Jenny McDaniel, February 14, 1805.
Massey and Jenny are diminutives for Amasa and Jane. I think it is likely that the ones named in this source are the same as my ancestors Amasa and Jane. If so, we now know Jane's maiden name.
